There are those that talk about cleaning up the area, and there are those that pick up a shovel and do something about it. That was the case this past week when the members of the SWBBA go together to clean up a section of Carey Avenue. Another positive sign of how much can be accomplished when individuals combine their efforts.

A Message from the President

Carey Avenue looks sensational - thank you to all the volunteers who came out and worked HARD - it wasn't easy - but our efforts were noticed.    I have received several phone calls and many comments from residents who noticed what we were doing and wanted to thank our group.  My personal thank you to Bob Hogan, Jim O'Connell, Angela Rackleff, Brian and Marcy O'Donnell and their team, Lonnie Truskowski and his wife and son, Miriam and Joe Sable, Joe Castrignano (prospective new member), and Rick - I hope I got you all - you all went above and beyond and your efforts paid off - the City picked up our bags and piles this afternoon and the street looks great - we should be on WYOU news this evening and maybe WBRE as well - again, thank you all for your efforts...
